First State

First State (* 1981 ; real name Sander van der Waal ) is a Dutch Trance - DJ and music producer . He is also known under the pseudonym Sander van Dien . First State was originally a trance duo, but Ralph Barendse left the project in May 2009.

biography

In 2005, Sander van Dien founded the trance project First State together with Ralph Barendse and released a single of the same name on the label In Trance We Trust , a sub-label of Black Hole Recordings . The single received a lot of support from Tiësto and eventually became a huge success. As a result, the duo moved into a joint studio in Dordrecht and produced other tracks under the name First State and accompanied Tiësto on his tour as a supporting act. In 2007 her album Time Frame was released by Black Hole Recordings.

In May 2009 Barendse decided to leave the First State project and concentrate on his solo career. Since then, Sander van Dien has been producing under this name alone. In 2009, First State also launched its Crossroads radio show. In 2010 the solo album Changing Lanes was released .
