The Fjodorowski rayon ( Russian Фёдоровский район ) is a Raion in the Russian Saratov Oblast . The administrative center is the Mokrous urban-type settlement . The Rajon is named after the village and former administrative seat Fjodorowka.

Geographical location
Fyodorovsky rajon is located in the southeastern part of Saratov Oblast , about 250 kilometers east of the city of Saratov . The Rajon is located east of the Volga in the steppe at the western end of the Caspian Depression . In the northeast of the Rajon is the source of the Great Karaman , which crosses the Rajon in a westerly direction to the Volga.

The Rajon is divided into a city municipality and 14 rural municipalities with a total of 29 localities. A significant proportion of the population is of Ukrainian and Kazakh origin. The largest settlements are (as of 2006) :
- Mokrous 6797 inhabitants (administrative center)
- Dolina (Долина) 1700 inhabitants
- Jeruslan (Еруслан) 1400 inhabitants
- Munino (Мунино) 1110 inhabitants
- Pervomaiskoye (Первомайское) 1,200 inhabitants
- Spartak (Спартак) 1,120 inhabitants
economy
In the Rajon there are large deposits of oil , which have already been explored and developed.
The main industry is agriculture, which focuses on growing cereals and sunflowers as well as dairy farming. Outside of this branch there are only smaller companies, mostly from the retail and food processing sectors.
Attractions
In Borisoglebowka there is an Orthodox church from the 19th century.
