history
On the top of the mountain are a small historical ensemble of houses, an inn and one of the St. Flora and St. Kilian , built in the years 1511-1515, a former fortified church , which was the ecclesiastical center of the area for several centuries. The first church at this point was built around 900 by the Fulda abbot Huoggi (891–915) and St. Dedicated to flora. Today's church is the fourth building at this point. The defensive wall that is still preserved probably dates back to the 10th century and served as protection against the Magyars, who then repeatedly invaded . The current tower comes from the second building, which gave way to the third building in 1362 and the time of construction is unknown.
