Florian Bergmann (* 1984 in Berlin ) is a German jazz and improvisation musician ( alto saxophone , bass clarinet , clarinet , also flute ) and composer.

Bergmann studied between 2004 and 2009 at the "Hanns Eisler" University of Music in Berlin and the Berlin University of the Arts . Influenced by his teacher Frank Gratkowski , he pursues a microtonal approach based on sound expansion on the reed instruments. Since 2008 he has been active in the Fo [u] r Alto formation .
