Florian Leitner (born November 28, 1988 ) is an Austrian football player in the position of an attacking midfielder or striker . He is currently playing for USK LEUBE Anif in the third-class Austrian Regionalliga West , one of three parallel seasons.
Career
youth
Leitner began his active career as a football player in 1995 in the offspring of his home club, the 1. Oberalmer SV . There he went through several youth league classes before moving to the youth division of the 1. Salzburg SK in September 2000 , where he was only active for one year. This was followed by a move to the youth team at PSV Salzburg at the end of September 2001 , with whom he finally stayed until 2006.
However, this time was interrupted for the period when Leitner was first sent to SV Austria Salzburg as a cooperation player and when the club was de facto bought up by Red Bull in 2005 for marketing reasons and "reconstituted" as FC Red Bull Salzburg , he moved to this newly constituted club . There, too, he was initially active as a cooperation player, but that changed in August 2006 when Leitner was signed as a permanent player by FC Red Bull Salzburg. After nine more games and a goal in the U-19 youth league sponsored by Toto , the young striker joined the amateur team of the club at Red Bull Juniors Salzburg for the 2006/07 season .
Club career
With the Juniors, who at that time were still represented in the third-rate Regionalliga West, he immediately made his team debut and was used in a total of seven league games in the same season. At the end of the season, the Red Bull Salzburg amateurs were in first place in the table, 14 points behind second-placed FC Hard . The team had a goal difference of +59, more than twice as high a difference as the pursuers from Hard . At the beginning of March 2007 Leitner was awarded to SV Seekirchen 1945 ; however, the loan only lasted until mid-June 2007.
On July 11, 2007, Leitner was reported as a new signing of SV Seekirchen. Shortly afterwards, he was already used in the first round of the current 2007/08 season for SV Seekirchen.
After numerous good games, he scored the first hat trick in his adult career on March 29, 2008 when he scored in the 22nd, 31st and 55th minute in the 5-2 away win over Innsbruck AC . With his 13 goals in a total of 27 championship games, Leitner was the team's top scorer this season and one of the main people responsible for keeping SV Seekirchen in the Regionalliga West. During the 2008/09 season Leitner was in twelve league games and was often substituted on or off. In the twelve games he had one goal.
During the winter break of the 2008/09 season, the striker moved to the second-class Austrian First League , where he signed a contract with SC Austria Lustenau . With the Vorarlbergers he was in the professional squad, but was mainly used for the second team of the club in the fourth-class Vorarlberg League. In total, he came to seven league appearances for the second team during the season, but remained without a goal and at the end of the season barely missed a relegation.
On March 17, 2009 Leitner made his professional debut when he was substituted on for Patrick Salomon in the 80th minute of the 0-1 away defeat against SKN St. Pölten . This was followed by two more short assignments; in the final table, the team reached fourth place. During the 2009/10 season Leitner made a total of nine league appearances for the second team in the Vorarlbergliga, where he scored twice in goal. For the professional team he came only to one use during this season when he came into the game for Sidinei on November 17, 2009 in the 0-1 away defeat against FC Admira Wacker Mödling in the 86th minute .
Leitner changed again during the winter break. This time he went back to Salzburg , where he signed a contract with third-class SV Grödig . In the following years Leitner played for a number of other amateur league clubs.
