The El Aaiun Airport (Engl. Hassan Airport , French. Aéroport de Laayoune ) (after King I. Moulay al-Hassan ) is the international airport of El Aaiun , capital of Western Sahara (from Morocco annexed).
Due to the special political situation in Western Sahara, this airport is listed in the Moroccan Aviation Manual as GMML and in the Spanish Aviation Manual as GSAI.
It is most frequently served by Royal Air Maroc and the Canarian Binter Canarias . The destinations are spread across three countries, Las Palmas (Spain), Agadir , Casablanca , Dakhla and Rabat (Morocco) and Paris-Orly (France).
