The Enontekiö Airport is an airport located in the extreme northwest of Finland .

It is located in the municipality of Enontekiö west of the main town of Hetta . The taxiway was laid out in 1980 and extended to a length of 2000 m in 1992; the small terminal building was built in 1989.

The area around Enontekiö is extremely sparsely populated, the airport is almost exclusively used for tourist purposes. Scheduled flights to Enontekiö are only operated by Finnair . In the ski season from March to May, it flies to Helsinki airport . The majority , however, the number of passengers making charter airlines from abroad.
