The Savonlinna Airport is located 15 km north of the town of Savonlinna , Finland, and was completed in the 1973rd

FlexFlight operates flights to and from Helsinki . These are carried out by the Latvian charter airline RAF-Avia . Some charter airlines also fly to the airport during the Savonlinna Opera Festival .

The airport has its own wing with which passengers are greeted with a small piano concert.
