use

As a fungicide, fluopicolide is particularly effective against egg fungi ( Oomycetes ) such as Phytophthora infestans , Plasmopara viticola , Pythium , Bremia lactucae and Pseudoperonospora cubensis . It is used in numerous agricultural crops.

It is the only representative of the new class of active ingredients, the spectrin- delocalizing fungicides.

Admission

In Germany, Austria and Switzerland, plant protection products containing fluopicolide are approved. Fluopicolide is offered either with fosetyl aluminum for viticulture or with propamocarb for growing potatoes and vegetables.
