The Focke-Wulf P.VII "Flitzer" was the design of a fighter aircraft with hybrid drive from Focke-Wulf Flugzeugbau AG . The name of the project is different in the literature, sometimes P.VI is used. Focke-Wulf himself referred to all "Flitzer" designs simply as TL-Jäger .

The work on the P.VII based on the project draft P.IV (designation system according to) was largely completed in March 1944 and led to the creation of a wooden dummy . In addition to the jet engine, the use of an additional rocket engine ( Walter HWK 109-509 ) was provided for take-off support. The air intake of the main engine was changed compared to the P.IV and was relocated to both wing roots, the design was reminiscent of the de Havilland DH100 Vampire developed around the same time in England .

The Reich Aviation Ministry showed little interest in the draft. Focke-Wulf therefore turned emphatically to the more progressive Ta 183 “Huckebein” project , which used the P.VI (designation after) design as the basis.
