The Focke-Wulf Fw 238 was a project for a four or six-engine long - range bomber from Focke-Wulf , which was created on the basis of the same tender as the Ta 400 and Ju 390 , in which a range of 15,000 km with a payload of 5000 kg was required .

The aircraft was designed in 1941 as an all-wood construction with a pressurized cabin for a crew of 5 to 10 people. It was to be driven by four liquid-cooled, 3900  hp twin-wheel BMW 803 engines , each with two counter-rotating four-blade propellers. A runway of 1000 meters was calculated. It stayed with the project, there was no production.
