Folke Lundeberg

Folke Olof Lundeberg (born November 24, 1878 in Valbo , Gävleborgs län ; † March 16, 1952 ) was a Swedish civil engineer . He was the son of the politician Christian Lundeberg .

Life

After his exams for road and hydraulic engineering ( Swedish Väg- och vattenbyggnadskonst ) in 1901 at the Royal Technical University in Stockholm and a training course in fastening technology , Lundeberg became an engineer in 1902 at the municipal utilities in Stockholm. He was the planner of the Orsa - Härjeådalens Järnvägsaktiebolag railway line built by Orsa - Sveg , which was integrated into the domestic railway in 1919 .

From 1902 to 1905 he was district manager of the middle and upper northern district for road and hydraulic engineering and designer of the gas and electricity works in Stockholm, which was built from 1905 to 1908, and labor director there from 1908 to 1909. In 1907 he was a lieutenant in vattenbyggnadskåren Väg- och , the captain , he was promoted 1915th He received the title of major in 1924 and in 1931 he became a lieutenant colonel in this authority.

From 1909 to 1921 he held the post of a fire engineer the board of the pilots being held. Lundeberg was chief fire engineer and board member of the pilotage system from 1921 to 1939. In this function he represented Sweden at international conferences in London in 1929, in Paris in 1933 and in Berlin in 1937.
