Foo Fighters is the debut album by the band of the same name, Foo Fighters . It was recorded in October 1994 by Dave Grohl with his friend and producer Barett Jones in Robert Lang's Seattle studio. Grohl wrote all the songs on the album himself, many of them during his time at Nirvana . It was only after the recordings for the album were finished that Dave Grohl started looking for a suitable band to promote the album.
