Fools Errant is a German rock band from Duisburg in the Ruhr area , which is on the Quasilectric label . The group is assigned to alternative rock and hard rock .

history

The rock band was founded by Nico Henne ( drums ), Raphael Peller (guitar / vocals) and Christoph Körn ( guitar ) in 2007. For the first two tours, more and more guest musicians were booked for the bass , until the end in 2012 with Dirk Wollert a musician and composer was found. Shortly after the tour through Russia , France , Austria , Lithuania and England in 2009, the session and blues guitarist Jascha Jakobs was also engaged on lead guitar. Since Raphael Peller has been concentrating more on singing since 2010, the rhythm guitar was completely handed over to Martin Hahn (formerly Biernatowski) from 2010, who was on the road with various bands in the Lower Rhine and the extended Ruhr area.

Fools Errant has already appeared as the opening act for artists such as Andreas Bourani , Max Mutzke , Gotthard , Gary Moore , Madcon or Steel Panther and played at numerous festivals such as the Traumzeit Festival , Olgas Rock , Zechenfest , Geldernsein or ExtraSchicht . The greatest success was the first place in the competition of the WDR2 "Aktion WDR 2 für eine Stadt". As part of this, the band played in front of 16,000 spectators in Kleve . In addition, the song "Losing Ground" was in the top 3 of the Ruhrcharts of Radio Duisburg and Radio Essen for almost six weeks in 2019 .
