The Forstbach is a creek almost two kilometers long. It is a left and northwest tributary of the Arnsbach in the Hessian Hochtaunuskreis .

The Forstbach rises in the eastern Hintertaunus at an altitude of about 397 m above sea level. NHN in a mixed forest east of the Merzhausen district of Usingen . It first feeds a small pond and then flows in a south-easterly direction through forest terrain. After leaving the forest, it forms three ponds, then runs through a green zone and finally flows into the Neu-Anspach district of Hausen-Arnsbach at an altitude of around 319 m above sea level.
