Fortín Libertad is a town in the Santa Cruz Department in the lowlands of the South American Andean state of Bolivia .

Location in the vicinity

Fortín Libertad is the central place of the canton Saturnino Saucedo in the district ( Bolivian : Municipio ) San Julián in the province Ñuflo de Chávez . The village is located at an altitude of 255  m in the middle of a gently rolling landscape twelve kilometers east of the Río Grande . Closest cities are San Julián (15 miles) to the north and Okinawa I (15 miles) to the west.
