Frédéric "Fred" Yonnet (born April 30, 1974 in Pont-l'Évêque ) is a French jazz and funk musician ( harmonica ).

Live and act

Yonnet played drums from the age of 14 and performed at the Marciac Jazz Festival , among others . At the age of 19 he turned to the diatonic harmonica , which he can play chromatically . In 2001 he moved to the USA.

In 2009 and 2010, Yonnet was a member of Prince 's backing band The New Power Generation . He has also worked with musicians such as Angie Stone , Anthony Hamilton , Bob James , David Foster , Erykah Badu , Grand Corps Malade , John Legend , Jonas Brothers , Justin Bieber , India.Arie , Kindred the Family Soul , Patti Austin , Randall Darius Jackson , Stevie Wonder and The Touré-Raichel Collective . Yonnet also released three albums under its own name.

Yonnet is an endorser for CA Seydel Sons .
