Fríðrún Olsen (born April 29, 1991 ; born Danielsen ) is a former Faroese soccer player who played for Skála ÍF and EB / Streymur / Skála . She was also active for the national team .

Olsen came to the first team from the youth of the Skála ÍF club and made her Cup debut in 2007 at the age of 16 . In the 9-0 away defeat in the first round against B36 Tórshavn , she played for the full time. At the end of the season, Skála was first placed to climb into the first division . There she quickly became a regular player and played her first game in the top division on the second day of the game in a 2-1 home defeat against Víkingur Gøta . In 2010, Olsen was loaned from Skála ÍF to KÍ Klaksvík for the period of the European Cup matches, making her only three UEFA Women's Champions League appearances that season . She came to her first use in the 6-0 loss to Everton LFC .

National team

For the national team of the Faroe Islands , Olsen played 31 international matches. The first took place together with Steintóra G. Joensen on May 10, 2008 in the 0-0 in the friendly against Kazakhstan in Junglinster , where she came on in the 44th minute for Rakul Magnussen . She scored her first of two goals so far to 5-0 in a 6-0 away win in the friendly against Luxembourg in Niederkorn . Josephsen played her last game on April 9, 2015 in the European Championship qualifier against Malta in Ħamrun , which was won 4-2.
