The Argentinean Toni Alvarez is a dance teacher and comes to Switzerland to visit his vacation flirt Melanie.
Since she is just getting engaged, she asks her aunt Leni Glanzmann to pass him off as her visit. Leni is in her mid-forties, has a bakery and lives with her son. Toni is at the door the next evening, because he has found a job for three months in a dance school and needs an apartment. First she sends him away. But when she needs a dance teacher for her dance course, he gets accommodation with her. Over time, they also get closer.

At the Baden-Baden TV Film Festival in 2010, Spring received the TV Film Prize of the German Academy of Performing Arts as best TV film and the Prize of the Student Jury.
