Andrea Bürgin (born February 6, 1957 in Wengen ) is a Swiss actress .

Life

Andrea Bürgin completed an acting training at the Zurich Acting Academy . At the beginning of her career as an actress there were theater engagements .

Bürgin was a permanent member of the ensemble at the Hamburger Schauspielhaus from 1977 to 1985 and again from 1988 to 1992 . In between, she had a permanent engagement at the Stuttgart State Theater from 1985 to 1988 . Guest engagements have taken Bürgin to the Thalia Theater in Hamburg , the Münchner Kammerspiele , the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus and the Residenztheater in Munich . From 2006 to 2008 Bürgin also played as a guest at the Nationaltheater Mannheim. Bürgin made her debut on German television in 1984 in Dieter Wedel 's multi-part TV series The Man Who Didn't Like Cars . This also began her long-term career on German television. Bürgin took on several continuous series lead roles, episode roles and guest roles.
