Francesco Scardamaglia

Francesco Scardamaglia (born February 23, 1945 in Varese , † October 17, 2010 in Rome ) was an Italian screenwriter , film producer and film director .

Life

Scardamaglia is the son of Elio Scardamaglia , who is also known as a writer and director in Italy. After spending his childhood and youth in Varese, Scardamaglia moved to Rome in 1966 . Partly in collaboration with his father, he has been responsible for the production of numerous mini-series and feature films since 1963, which cover a broad spectrum - from historical and Bible subjects to film comedies. Scardamaglia's films starring Bud Spencer in the leading role, including the 1978 science fiction film Der Große mit seine Extraordischen Kleinin ( The Big One with His Extra-Terrestrial Little One), have achieved notoriety in German-speaking countries .

In 1970 he also directed the pseudo-documentary Maschi e femmine together with Augusto Caminito .
