Frank Böse (born February 14 , 1969 in Hamburg ) is a former German football player .

Career

Böse started playing soccer at the Schleswig-Holstein multi-discipline club TSV Reinbek and was hired by FC Bayern Munich in 1986 for their youth department. After only one season, at the end of which he was able to win the Bavarian national championship title, he moved up to the second team. With no match experience and no prospect of a professional contract, he returned to his Hanseatic homeland and initially joined SC Concordia and later VfL 93 Hamburg . During the winter break of the 1994/95 season he was signed by the second division club FC St. Pauli . With his league debut on June 18, 1995 (34th matchday) in a 5-0 win at home against FC 08 Homburg , he played a part in the promotion to the Bundesliga. In this division he played until the end of the 1996/97 season - as a substitute goalkeeper for Klaus Thomforde - only eight point games. He made his Bundesliga debut on September 23, 1995 (7th matchday) in a 2-0 win at home against Hansa Rostock .

For the 1997/98 season he was obliged by the second division relegated VfB Lübeck . By the end of the 2000/01 season he was used in a league game in the third- tier Regionalliga Nord and in the DFB Cup competition.

For the 2001/02 season he moved to the Regionalliga Süd for SV Elversberg in Saarland . After two seasons - in his first he was used in 26 point games - he returned to Reinbek . After two seasons for TSV Reinbek, one season each for VfR Neumünster and VfL 93 Hamburg, two years followed with district league club TSV Grabau before joining SC Wentorf . After three seasons he returned for one season and for the last time to TSV Reinbek and then ended his football career.
