Frederic Hormuth (born November 1, 1968 in Mannheim ) is a German cabaret artist , musician and author .

Life

After graduating from high school and doing community service , Hormuth trained as a sound engineer . He finished his subsequent studies in German and English at an early stage in order to enter the cabaret scene full-time at the end of the nineties. The Mannheimer Kleinkunstbühne Klapsmühl 'at the town hall developed into his main stage. After he had won several cabaret prizes, further successes followed both as a cabaret artist and as a cabaret writer and director. Frederic Hormuth is married and lives in Heppenheim an der Bergstrasse .

Career

During his studies, Frederic Hormuth began performing as a cabaret artist in and around Mannheim, both solo and in the cabaret trio "Die Allergiker", of which he was a member from 1992 to 2004. After these initial successes, Frederic Hormuth started his solo career in 1998 with his first nationwide program "Kabarazzo". Since then he has been writing a new solo program about every two years, with which he then goes on tour. Since 2005 he has been producing his annual review “How was it for you?” At the end of each year.

In addition to his nationwide appearances, he was also seen on television, for example at Ottis Schlachthof in the BR , at the cabaret festival of the voles in the RBB and other broadcasts.

As a writer and co-author was or is Hormuth for various colleagues like Didi Saxer, Ingo Börchers , Lutz von Rosenberg Lipinsky , Christoph Brüske and Britta of appeal as well as a director for Daniel Helfrich, Einhart Klucke and the Mannheim cabaret shower worked well as co-author (2005–2011) for Bülent Ceylan . In addition, he wrote a daily internet blog and columns for Mannheimer Morgen for a long time .
