history
In 1927 a commercial and higher commercial school was set up in the current building of the Friedrich List School. After the turmoil of the war, it was decided in 1949 to found today's FLS as a business school with a vocational high school and vocational school. The higher commercial school, which existed in the buildings until then, was integrated into them. It was agreed on the designation as municipal commercial schools . In 1957 the school was officially renamed the Friedrich List School. The part-time classes that existed until 1961 are outsourced to the commercial vocational school in Schillerstraße. The business grammar school with full university entrance qualification was introduced in 1964 with a grammar school branch at the FLS, which is now run as a vocational grammar school. In 1979 the FLS started accepting part-time students again. At the same time, the commercial college was outsourced to the Martin Luther King School .
