Friedrich August von Geyso (* 3. July 1715 in Bovenden , † 6. November 1787 in Wülfel before Hannover ) was a kurhannoverscher Major General .

Life

Major General Friedrich August von Geyso was chief of the Electoral-Hanoverian Diepholzische Landregiment from 1766 to 1787 and - almost simultaneously - from 1768 to 1787 chief of the 2nd Cellischen Landregiment .

Von Geyso was the uncle of Georg Bock von Wülfingen and the godfather of his son, the later captain Wilhelm August Friedrich von Geyso (* 16, baptized December 26, 1783 in Elze ; † January 21, 1826 ibid).

Friedrich August von Geyso's listed grave monument was erected at the Church of St. Petri in Döhren , where the Hanoverian painter Karl Hapke captured it in pictures. as one of the last parts of the old center of the former cluster village , the center of which is only made clear by the church with its grave slabs and epitaphs , the rectory and the school.
