Friedrich Hug

Friedrich Hug (born March 15, 1839 in Aulfingen , † August 13, 1911 in Konstanz ) was the foundation administrator and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Hug attended the Lyceen in Konstanz and Freiburg and the Universities of Freiburg and Heidelberg . In 1861 he joined the state finance service, from 1863 he was active in the Catholic foundation system, from 1865 to 1872 as administrator of Catholic funds in Constance, from 1872 to 1885 as assessor and councilor of the Catholic Upper Foundation Council in Karlsruhe and again from 1885 as administrator of the Catholic foundation Foundation administration Konstanz belonging funds. He was a member of the state parliament from 1873 to 1875 and from 1889 to 1903. Hug was the owner of the Zähringer Order of Lions, 1st class with oak leaves .

From 1890 until his death he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of the Grand Duchy of Baden 1 Constance , Überlingen , Stockach and the German Center Party .

There is a Friedrich-Hug-Straße in Konstanz.
