Friedrich Mühlenbruch

Friedrich Mühlenbruch (born October 3, 1785 in Rostock , † July 17, 1843 in Göttingen ) was a German private lawyer.

Life

Mühlenbruch began to study law at the University of Rostock . He moved to the University of Greifswald , the Georg-August University of Göttingen and the Ruprecht Karls University . He became a member of the Corps Rhenania Heidelberg (1804) and the Order of Constantists .

He was promoted to Dr. iur. did his doctorate and habilitation in Rostock in 1805. In 1806 he became a judicial advisor, in 1808 a councilor and in 1810 a full professor of law and assessor of the law faculty. In the same position he moved to the University of Greifswald (1815), the Albertus University of Königsberg (1818) and the Friedrichs University of Halle (1819). In 1833 he moved to the University of Göttingen as full professor of law and member of the Spruchcollegium, where he taught until 1843. In 1839 Mühlenbruch was appointed an extraordinary member of the Hanover State Council. He edited legal articles for the Allgemeine Literatur-Zeitung (Halle a. S.) and participated in the editing of the archive for civilian practice . He died at the age of 58 and was buried in the Bartholomäus cemetery in Göttingen .
