Fritz Claus (politician)
Fritz Claus (born May 16, 1905 in Bochum ; † February 9, 1985 ) was a German politician ( SPD ).
Life
Claus completed an apprenticeship as a printer and typesetter, initially worked as a locksmith and later as an administrative clerk. During the period of National Socialism , he was politically persecuted. From 1969 to 1975 he was Lord Mayor of Bochum .
