The Fuchshof , also called Fuchsmühle , is a small settlement in the area of the Creglingen district of Frauental in the Main-Tauber district in the Franconian north-east of Baden-Württemberg .

geography

Geographical location and nature

The Fuchshof is located in the shell limestone valley of the Steinach on the right bank of the small river. A little below the Fuchshof, the valley trench flows from a short side valley from the left into the Steinach, which itself joins the middle Tauber about seven kilometers further downstream and about one kilometer southeast of Bieberehren from the right .

From about the Fuchsberg at the Fuchshof below Frauentals, stone bars overgrown by hedges set in on the right slope , interrupted by a few pieces of forest, continue to the entrance to the Taubertal. The stone bar landscape and numerous dry stone walls as well as stair taffels bear witness to the earlier viticulture. Mighty individual trees in a landscape with semi-arid lawns were probably created by sheep hat. There is little space in the narrow outer sole. The steep slopes of the valley are taken up by the forest on the right and by bushes on the left.

After about two kilometers to the north and east, the state borders of Baden-Württemberg and Bavaria follow .
