Career

Between 2007 and 2010 Lekesiz played at Borussia Mönchengladbach in the B and A Junior Bundesliga . Then there was a change to the second team from Alemannia Aachen , for which he played for two years in the then NRW League. In the 2012/13 season Lekesiz was signed by Rot-Weiß Oberhausen . There he regularly scored goals in the Oberliga Niederrhein , so that he was also used for the professional team in the Regionalliga West.

In the following season, MSV Duisburg signed the striker. Here, too, he was mainly used in the second team in the Oberliga Niederrhein. He finally made his debut in the 3rd division on November 23, 2013, when he was substituted on against SpVgg Unterhaching in the 72nd minute. He celebrated his goal debut for the professional team of MSV in the Lower Rhine Cup final in a 5-2 win against TV Jahn Hiesfeld . Under coach Gino Lettieri , Lekesiz was taken over into the professional squad of the zebras for the 2014/15 season, but was only called up sporadically after that and mostly continued to play for the second team. In 2015 the MSV managed to return to the 2nd Bundesliga.

In the run-up to the 2015/16 season, Lekesiz signed with the Dutch second division club Fortuna Sittard . With his new employer he was aiming for promotion to the highest league in the Netherlands. However, this clearly failed with final rank 16. Lekesiz then returned to Germany and joined the regional division SC Wiedenbrück . After a year he left the club and moved to Turkey to the third division Sancaktepe FK , after a year he switched to league rivals Amed SK . In summer 2019, Lekesiz returned to Germany, where he had signed a contract with SV Straelen .
