There is a good touring area around the hut in winter . The owners of this alp are 24 properties in Götzens who have been managing their alp since the settlement of Götzens. The forest path to the Götzner Alm via the Birgitzer Alm is also a popular mountain bike route.
Winter sports
There is a pull path from the Mutterer Alm and Birgitzköpflhütte . The pull paths are used as toboggan runs.
