Günter Fink (journalist)

Günter Fink (born March 30, 1954 in Hamburg ) is a German journalist , author and moderator .

Life

In 1972, at the age of 18, he received a traineeship at Norddeutscher Rundfunk and worked as an employee of the TV world director at the Olympic Games in Munich. In 1974 he became a permanent freelancer in NDR radio and television for contributions to current affairs, entertainment, culture and sport. From 1981 to 1990 he was employed as a permanent editor in NDR radio ( NDR 2 ), editor and presenter of the series NDR 2 - Club-Wunschkonzert , NDR 2 in the morning , NDR 2 - The Club , The Shredder (NDR 3) .

In 1985 he was a commentator on Live Aid (London and Philadelphia) for ARD radio. He was friends with the actress and comedian Evelyn Hamann and worked with her for ten years for the NDR satirical magazine shredder . In 1987 he played the "decoy" for Do you understand fun? (SDR) and was the presenter of the television program Montagsmarkt (WDR) as well as editor-in-chief and presenter of other NDR radio series and magazine programs (NDR 2). He also moderated the ARD evening program and NDR-Aktuell (North German television).

In 1990 he switched to North German Television as a permanent editor . He took over the editing, moderation and was the editor of contributions for DAS! , Hamburg Journal and Brisant ( MDR ). Since 1995 he has been working as a freelance journalist for print media such as Die Welt , Welt am Sonntag , Hamburger Abendblatt , Lübecker Nachrichten , Berliner Zeitung and Hannoversche Allgemeine Zeitung . His main topics are entertainment, culture and media. He has also emerged as a book author and publicist for the development of concepts for television programs and project consulting. From the beginning of 2009 to the end of 2012 he was also the presenter of the program Der Club with Günter Fink on Radio Nora .

Fink has a daughter (Jennifer) and lives in the Hamburg district of Uhlenhorst .

Awards

  • In 1981 he received the Kurt Magnus Prize awarded by ARD for the best young journalists.
