Günter Kahlberg

Günter Kahlberg (born March 1, 1936 in Flatow , Grenzmark Province of Posen-West Prussia ; † June 9, 1997 ) was a German administrative lawyer and local politician ( CDU ).

Career

Kahlenberg studied 1957-1961 jurisprudence . From 1965 he was a research assistant in the administration of the Schleswig-Holstein state parliament . In 1966 he became managing director of the CDU parliamentary group there, and in 1967 he was a consultant in the municipal department of the Schleswig-Holstein Ministry of the Interior. From 1968 to 1971 he was personal advisor to Interior Minister Hartwig Schlegelberger .

In 1972 he worked briefly as a senior government councilor at the Rhineland-Palatinate Ministry of the Interior and the Rheinhessen-Palatinate district government. From 1972 to 1983 he was Lord Mayor of the independent city of Frankenthal (Palatinate) . He was then Vice President of the Rhineland-Palatinate Court of Audit from 1984 until his death .
