Günther Feustel

Günther Feustel (born July 13, 1924 in Teltow ; † January 16, 2011 ibid.) Was a German author of children's and youth literature .

life and work

Feustel grew up in the High Tatras . From 1943 he was a German soldier, in 1945 he taught biology and chemistry as a new teacher in Stahnsdorf , later he was a teacher at the secondary school in Blankenfelde . Since 1958 he has been a freelance writer.

Günther Feustel was married to the youth author Ingeborg Feustel . Together with her he created television dolls for children, for example Pittiplatsch and Schnatterinchen and the texts for their play scenes.

Jan-Michael Feustel's son was born on January 17, 1951 .

Günther Feustel has published over 30 children's books that have been translated into 24 languages. Many of his stories, novels and radio plays for children and young people are about people and animals in the wild.
