Günther Hans Schwerkolt (born March 12, 1907 in Berlin-Neukölln ; † December 18, 1997 in Berlin ) was a German actor , author , composer , cabaret artist and voice actor .
Life
Between the 1950s and 1970s, Schwerkolt worked as a composer, conductor and soloist for numerous television and radio programs such as in 1954 in the major carnival revue Heidewitzka , in 1958 in the ARD entertainment program Greetings from Berlin , in Berliner Bilderbogen and in 1971 in Musikmosaik , each with Bully Buhlan , and in 1972 in Dalli Dalli . As a film composer, he contributed the music to Alwin Elling's short film Achte mir auf Gakeki (1935), the short film When in Werder the trees are blooming with Oscar Sabo (1937) and the satire Wir Kellerkinder with Wolfgang Neuss . In the latter, Schwerkolt also appeared as an actor. He was also seen in Imo Moszkowicz 's operetta adaptation Der Vetter aus Dingsda (in the role of "Josef Kuhbrot") and in Curth Flatow's boulevard comedy So'n Theater .
In addition, Schwerkolt worked as a cabaret artist and musician in various programs by Günter Neumann and his islanders, such as the 1955 TV recorded Wer wants again ... and from 1955 on with the SFB cabaret "Die Geladenen".
On the radio he appeared as a soloist in Grandpa's Schlagerfestival, among others . He also worked as a voice actor for the German version of the animated films Asterix and Cleopatra and Alice in Wonderland , for which Heinrich Riethmüller was responsible for the German version.
Günther Schwerkolt died in December 1997 at the age of 90 in Berlin. His grave is in the state-owned cemetery Heerstraße in Berlin-Westend .
