G20 summit in Hangzhou 2016
The 2016 G20 summit in Hangzhou was the eleventh meeting of the heads of government of the group of the twenty most important industrialized and emerging countries . It took place on September 4th and 5th in Hangzhou . It was the second G20 summit to be held in China (after Beijing in 2005) and the third in an Asian country (the fifth meeting was held in Seoul, South Korea , in November 2010 ). The central theme was "building an innovative, strengthened, networked and inclusive world economy", ie a global economy that benefits all people and countries. The global weak growth should be counteracted; at the same time, the global climate protection goals should be achieved.
