The GMC Terrain is an SUV from the GMC brand belonging to General Motors . The vehicle presented at the New York International Auto Show 2009 is by far the smallest and most economical model from GMC. It actually replaces the torrent of the now discontinued Pontiac brand and shares the technical basis with the Chevrolet Equinox , Cadillac SRX and Suzuki XL7 models .
