GM Gamma platform
Gamma is the front-wheel drive small car - platform of General Motors . It was first used in 2000 in the Opel Corsa C. During the cooperation including GM's equity stake in Fiat in 2002, the platform was also used for Fiat models.
Gamma / GM4300
The first version of the platform was released in autumn 2000 with the introduction of the Opel Corsa C and is the successor to the GM4200 platform , which was used in previous Corsa models from Opel Germany. The wheelbase has been increased from 2465 mm to 2491 mm compared to the GM4200.

Gamma II
GM Korea has assumed responsibility for developing the Global Small Vehicle (GSV) architecture from GM. This architecture is used by GM for all small cars. While the first Gamma platform was developed by Opel in Germany, the successor was developed by GM Korea, the former GM Daewoo.
Vehicles with this platform are assembled in the United States , Indonesia , Ecuador , Brazil , Germany , Colombia , Spain , India , South Korea , Mexico , Thailand , Venezuela , Uzbekistan , Vietnam , China and Russia .
