The Opel Mokka is a compact SUV from the Rüsselsheim automobile manufacturer Opel . In most European countries the vehicle is available under the name Opel Mokka . In the UK , the SUV is sold as the Vauxhall Mocha .
In 2012, the Mokka A, based on the Gamma II platform from GM Korea, went on sale. It shares the technical basis with the first generation of the Buick Encore and the Chevrolet Trax . The Opel Mokka B was presented in June 2020 and should go on sale in early 2021. It builds on the Common Modular Platform of PSA -Konzerns and is also known as battery-electric powered Opel Mokka-e available.
