The locomotives from Zwenkau to Gaschwitz were double- coupled tank locomotives of the Gaschwitz-Meuselwitz Railway .

history

The four small locomotives were delivered from Schichau in Elbing to the Gaschwitz-Meuselwitz Railway in 1873/74 . They received the names ZWENKAU , WIPRECHT V. GROITZSCH , LUCKA and GASCHWITZ .

After they were taken over by the Royal Saxon State Railways in 1886 , they were classified in the Sch VII T class with track numbers 742 to 745 . In 1892 they were redrawn in 1403-1406.

Compared to the other locomotives classified in class VII T, they stood out due to their relatively large coupling wheels with a diameter of 1360 mm. In addition, they had no storage containers on the side; the water supply was housed in the frame.

Only the former GASCHWITZ came into the inventory of the Deutsche Reichsbahn . It was retired in 1925 shortly after being redesignated in 98 7091.
