Gabriel Beristain

Gabriel Beristain (born May 9, 1955 in Mexico City ) is an American cameraman .

Life

Born in Mexico, he studied at the National Film and Television School in England. In 1991 he moved to the United States of America.

Beristain has worked as a cameraman in the film business since the early 1980s, previously working as a cameraman in the documentary and news sector. He has been involved in more than 40 film and television productions. In 1995 and 1999 he was nominated for the Premio Ariel for his work . He has been a member of the British Society of Cinematographers since 1999 and of the American Society of Cinematographers since 2000 .

He is married and has several children.
