“[...] Brian Robbins' family-compatible fantasy comedy 'Shaggy Dog' is featured in this illustrious negative hit list. And not without good reason. In the exhumation of Disney's 'The Unheimliche Zotti' (1959) - or, more appropriately, its sequel 'Zotti, das Urvieh' (1976) - very little is true. "
"[...] Tim Allen is fully in his element in this metamorphosis and is the strongest special effect of the film. At his side, 'Sex and the City' star Kristin Davis shines as a neglected wife and Robert Downey Jr. as a mad scientist. Great fun for the whole family! "
