Gabriela Filippo (born July 21, 1987 in Asunción ) is a Paraguayan beach volleyball player .

Career

Filippo played on the continental tour with Michelle Sharon Valiente Amarilla in 2014, finishing three fifths and one ninth. She completed the next two tournaments in April 2014 and in February 2015 with Adriana Maria Auxiliadora Marti Rolon and Paula Belen Melgarejo Britos , before she competed again with her standard partner and took second place at the tournament in Bolivia . Filippo / Michelle took part in the World Cup in the Netherlands ; there they reached the first knockout round as third in the group, in which they had to admit defeat to the Americans April Ross and Kerri Walsh . In Rio de Janeiro Filippo played her first open tournament on the FIVB World Tour with Erika Sofia Mongelos Bobadilla .

At the beginning of 2016 she took part in two CSV tournaments and the Maceió Open with Patricia Carolina Caballero Peña . Then she and Michelle won the CSV tournament in her hometown. After a 25th place at the Fortaleza Open, there were further top ten results in the continental series. Filippo / Michelle played their first Grand Slam together in Long Beach . Filippo started 2017 in South America with Pati. At the one-star tournament of the World Tour 2017 in Agadir , Filippo / Erika lost the game for bronze against the French Chamereau / Placette . Via the CSV preliminary decision, they qualified for the 2017 World Cup in Vienna , where they were eliminated after finishing third in their preliminary group in the “Lucky Loser” round against the Germans Glenzke / Großner .
