Gallifa is a small parish in the Vallès Occidental district . On January 1, 2019, the population was 172.
geography
The municipality is bounded in the north by the mountain La Mola (Gallifa) and in the south by a castle hill. It is located in a natural valley on the Besòs River. Gallifa borders Granera , Castellterçol and Sant Quirze Safaja to the north, Sant Llorenç Savall to the west, Caldes de Montbui to the south and Sant Feliu de Codines to the east .
history
The place has a history of more than a thousand years. There are 4 Romanesque chapels that still exist. Sant Pere, Sant Feliu and Santa Maria del Castell, as well as the remains of the medieval castle on Mount Farell.
