Garze is a district of the city of Bleckede in Lower Saxony .

The place is two kilometers northwest of Bleckede and west of the Elbe .

history

For the year 1848 it is stated that Garze had 26 residential buildings in which 223 residents lived. At the time the place was parish to Bleckede, the school was in the place. From 1895 Garze was connected to the Bleckeder Kreisbahn .

On December 1, 1910, Garze in the Bleckede district had 236 inhabitants. The census of September 13, 1950 showed that 345 residents lived in 94 households in the village. On March 1, 1974 Garze was incorporated into Bleckede.
