From 1895 Karze was connected to the Bleckeder Kreisbahn . On December 1, 1910, Karze in the Bleckede district had 151 inhabitants. The census of September 13, 1950 showed that there were 463 inhabitants in 118 households in Karze. On March 1, 1974 Karze was incorporated into Bleckede.
