Brackede ( Low German Brackd ) is a district of the city of Bleckede in Lower Saxony .

geography

The place is five kilometers north of Bleckede and is enclosed to the east and north by the Elbe .

history

For the year 1848 it is stated that Brackede had 41 residential buildings in which 351 residents lived. At the time the place was parish to Garlstorf , where the school was located. From 1895 the place had a terminal station and was connected to the Bleckeder circular path .

On December 1, 1910 Brackede had 302 inhabitants in the Bleckede district . The census of September 13, 1950 showed that there were 455 inhabitants in 108 households. On March 1, 1974 Brackede was incorporated into Bleckede.
