Gatineau Loppet

Gatineau Loppet (former names Rivière Rouge , Gatineau 55 and Keskinada Loppet ) is a ski marathon in Canada that is part of the Worldloppet series. The event is held annually in February at Gatineau in the province of Québec . There are races in classic technique over 55 km and 38 km and in free technique over 51 km and 27 km.

The race was first held in 1979 under the name Rivière Rouge in Lachute in Québec. In 1983 the venue was moved to Gatineau Park and was named Gatineau 55 . From 1996 the event was named Keskinada Loppet until the 30th anniversary race was named Gatineau Loppet .
