The Gaulsbach is an orographically left tributary of the Nahe in the Rhineland-Palatinate district of Bad Kreuznach . Its upper course is called Kieselbach and - at least in the Seesbach area  - also Hoxbach .

The Gaulsbach rises as Kieselbach in the southern Soonwald between its mountains Karchrech and Alteburg, a little south of the Kesselbrucher line at about 520  m above sea level. NN . From here the brook flows in a southerly direction, through Langenthal and finally reaches Monzingen , on the southern edge of which it flows from the left to below 160  m above sea level. NN flows into the Nahe .
