Georg Becker (politician)

Georg Wilhelm Becker (born December 2, 1782 in Altenburg , † January 6, 1843 in Steinheim ) was a Hessian politician and member of the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Life

Georg Becker, who was of Protestant faith, was married to Johanna Dorothea née Diefenbach (born January 29, 1790 in Dietzenbach ). He was tax commissioner in Großkrotzenburg and from 1822 in Steinheim .

In the 9th electoral term (1841–1842) Georg Becker was a member of the second chamber of the state estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse. In the estates he represented the constituency of Starkenburg 1 / Heusenstamm .
